I’m Basi, a passionate English tutor from South Africa with a double major degree in Criminology & Sociology from Monash University. After university, I spent over a decade as a sales manager, gaining invaluable experience in communication and working with people from all walks of life. My entrepreneurial journey led me to create Bilingual Friend, my proudest achievement, where I combine my love for language and education.
Currently, I’m on an exciting world tour, exploring Asia and immersing myself in different cultures. Along the way, I volunteer to teach English in underprivileged schools, giving back to communities while learning from them. Teaching on Bilingual Friend not only helps me fund my travels but also allows me to empower my students—helping them improve their English, land better jobs, and achieve their personal and professional goals.
